Please click on the link below to review NCARB’s position regarding the current debate in the architecture community relative to the role of the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) and the future of architectural accreditation. The debate focuses on potential adjustments to the NAAB’s governance, funding, and procedural models.

Continuing Education Information 

Once you’ve earned your Kentucky architect license, you are required to obtain at least twelve (12) CEHs per year; and report these credits as a condition of license renewal per 201 KAR 19:087. Continuing education is post-licensure learning that enables a registered architect to increase or update knowledge of and competence in technical and professional subjects related to the practice of architecture to safeguard the public’s health, safety, and welfare.

The Kentucky Board of Architects serves the profession by promoting quality continuing education opportunities to architects and CIDs. Building code courses can meet the technical and professional requirements the Board finds appropriate to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of the public.
